Our Partner Tunde Busari, SAN, FCIS, FCIArb was a panelist at the webinar organised by the Tourism and Hospitality Industries Thematic group of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) in collaboration with the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA SBL) with the theme “Regulatory Governance Framework for the Tourism and Hospitality Sectors under the Nigeria Constitution”
In his presentation he noted that by the Supreme Court judgment in ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION v. ATTORNEY GENERAL OF LAGOS STATE (2013) LPELR-20974(SC) the Federal Government could no longer establish a state tourism board but the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) can still carry out some tourism responsibilities by creating the enabling environment for tourism to thrive in Nigeria.
