Our Mr Seyi Akinwunmi, has had over 30 years’ experience as a Legal Practitioner and is renowned as one of Nigeria’s foremost Secured Credit and Business Reconstruction Practitioners. He has vast experience in litigation as well as negotiation and documentation of syndicated loans for joint ventures, project financing, etc. He has acted in this capacity to various State Governments, government agencies and international lending organizations, commercial banks, asset management companies, blue chip manufacturing companies, trustee companies, technological/telecoms companies, etc. He has at various times played lead roles in the design, negotiation and drafting of Franchise Agreements, BOT Agreements, ROT Agreements, DBO Agreements, FDB Agreements, Concession Agreements. Indeed he advised one of the State Governments in the concession of one of the largest pharmaceutical plants in West Africa to a Chinese firm at a time concession agreements were not popular in Nigeria. He is a registered contractor for the World Bank to provide legal services. He was also recently appointed Legal Expert and Team Leader by the Nigerian infrastructure Advisory Facility, a DFID program implemented by Adam Smith International to review all the legislation and documentation relating to the project, advice and draft a novel agreement for the provision of bus mass transit and Bus Rapid Transit in Lagos.
Mr. Tunde Busari SAN is the immediate past President of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom. He is a seasoned litigator, negotiator and advisor with over 26 years’ experience. As such, he is well known in this field and his well-honed skills have been brought to bear on the firm’s expertise in litigation, mediation, conciliation and arbitration. This is due to the fact that with today’s fast growing economy, we are dynamically involved in the negotiation of agreements, joint ventures, partnerships and alliances in all commercial sectors and the dispute resolution of such agreements by means other than litigation is a preferred means of solving business disputes in a bid to save time and preserve business relationships.
